Hello, everyone. For many students, back to school is exciting, and for parents, too! There will be back-to-school nights for parents and teachers to get acquainted with the new school year’s prospects and updates. There will be new goal settings. Children are happy to be with their friends again. I know … I’m a parent myself, and I used to attend these parent-teacher meetings for my daughter when she was young. Those were foundational years for her and her friends. Parents would do well to attend all meetings concerning their children. It show them your all-out support for their studies, which could be challenging.

I should add to my profile board a new photo of my graduate school, Tiffin University, in Ohio, USA. In the meantime, here are a couple of pictures of the school I attended (online) to complete my second master’s degree; the program was Master of Humanities (English) or Literature, which I completed in December 2023.

So I just want to encourage students and their parents, or in the case of graduate and post-graduate school students, including me (I’m in my doctoral program in English (Literature) at Liberty University in Virginia, USA), to start the school year strong and inspired! God is with us all; He will help us succeed. Let me share a scripture for us to think about today: Proverbs 18:15 says, “The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge / for the ears of the wise seek it out.” God desires that we learn new things, acquire knowledge and wisdom, for they will be our guides to life.

In this spirit, I wish you a blessed Wednesday! Students, go and conquer the world! At the end of this school year, let’s all say with Julius Caesar, “Veni, vidi, vici!” (I came, I saw, I conquered!) God bless!
